Go Africa is proud to offer for our customers the rarest snack nut in the world. GO Africa Macadamia Nuts are from a lineage of macadamia trees that have been cultivated by farmers in Africa for more than a century. They are coveted for their rich buttery flavor and we have dry roasted and salted them to bring out their creaminess. Two of the top three countries producing these rare nuts are in Africa. Like Africa’s precious stones and minerals, macadamia nuts are rare. Lucky for us, our farmers have provided a portion to share with you. Enjoy.
Why are these nuts so rare? Macadamia trees have a slow harvesting process, taking 7 to 10 years for the trees to even begin producing nuts.
Macadamias are grown in tropical climates and their flavor pairs well with lemon, coffee, and coconut. They are calorie rich nuts that are high in healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.
